Three years ago Fashion Night Out was hosted by Vogue and the CFDA in New York City to encourage consumers to shop and support the fashion industry. With such a HUGE success in 2009, the event, now dubbed the biggest fashion event in history, and getting bigger every year. In 2010 16 countries participated... 2011, Orlando jumped on the FNO train!
From the far east and far west Orlando fashionistas with all different style put on their favorite designer pieces and attended the “IT” event held on September 8th 2011, and finally Orlando fashionistas were included!
Boutiques such as Chanel, Tory Burch and BCBG(among many others) participated offering their savvy shoppers glasses of champagne while they shopped the new designer fall lines. The Chanel boutique, complete with an amazing handbag I fell in love with and their promised exclusive limited edition FNO nail colors, this year three denim-inspired hues called Les Jeans de Chanel, Blue Rebel, Coco Blue and Blue Boy.
BCBG housed (along with many stores in the mall) the official FNO tee and a free miniature of the newly launched, BCBG Max Azria perfume. You know the one with the rose cap?? Mall at Millenia hosted the Pure Fashion Sweepstakes where winner would win one of 3 Millenia giftcards.
And Neimann Marcus, can just be described as a huge party while swiping your credit card! There was catered food, DJs on every floor, fashion photoshoots happening right there, live models showing off the latest fall pieces.
